First Art Studio

Hey everyone!

March 2009 has been my busiest and it’s only March 9th, for those of you who don’t know I have been working on the Board of the League of Reston Artists and helping them to develop a growth plan for new space as well as getting sponsorship and benefactors for the League. Always entertaining!

I submitted 3 new works that were rejected. It happens. I can’t say I am surprised I was on a streak there. Since I decided to take the leap last year, I have manage to have something showing somewhere since June 2008. It was a good run and I was honored to have those works shown.

In the meantime, I will be looking to take some new classes as well as get out and snap some photos. It’s spring and it’s alway inspirational for any lover of art.

I am not sure if anyone knows that I have been doing a business podcast with a dear friend of mine – Lorraine Warshaw – we call it KANDL (Kent AND Lorraine).
